Where your cake dreams come true!

The delicious smell of my mother’s Dutch Speculaas cookies lured me into the kitchen when I was eight years old.

With long days and hard work on our family horticultural property came big appetites. Being too young to work on the farm but keen to be part of the team I learned quickly how to feed hungry people.

My love of baking was especially enjoyed by my little brother as I attempted all his birthday cakes from the Women’s Weekly Kids Birthday Cake Edition.

Encouraged by my family I soon realised I had a talent for creating my own designs.

Now married to a farmer, having my own children and grandchildren I have had a lot of experience making celebrations magical.

Antoinette’s Tasty Treats opened its doors in July 2024. Based in Taupiri just 15 minutes out of Hamilton.

My passion has always been baking and now I want to share it with you.

Sweet and Tasty

My sweet treats have to get through serious flavour trials to pass the Delicious Test, A panel of friends and family before they are included in my options.

Eggs are from free-range chooks on our farm. I brew my own full flavoured vanilla essence and use quality New Zealand butter.

You don’t just get the best ingredients you also get cakes baked with passion.

The Cherry on top

All baking is made from scratch and fresh for you.

Cakes are filled and decorated with delicious homemade buttercream, fluffy mellow buttercream or dreamy ganache.

Booking your masterpiece is essential.

Get your cupcake order to me 4 days in advance and your cake order to me 2 weeks in advance. 

Wedding cakes, custom cookies or large orders by arrangement.
